How do I book tickets online?

Select the “Tickets” button in the right hand corner of this page. Find the date you would like to attend, and select “Member Admission”(blue) for 10am or 1pm. Once you are on the reservations page, sign in to your account.

You can also check out this instructional video with all the steps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5mcd1-ao3U

After I log in, I still cannot reserve member tickets. Why doesn’t the website recognize me?

The website recognizes you as a member by your associated email address. Please be sure that the email used to register on the Filoli website is the exact same as the email associated with your membership.

If you are unsure what email is associated with your membership, or would like to change your email, please email us at membership@filoli.org with your name and address to confirm.

How do I book guest tickets covered by my membership?

Select "Member Guest" ticket type under Member Admission. Guests and children included with your membership will need to be accompanied by a named member when you check in.

Do guests included in the membership need me to be present to enter?

Yes. A named member must be present and show their active membership card and matching photo ID.

Who can I bring as a guest?

Anyone! Bring a friend, partner, or child. Have a great time sharing Filoli with your loved ones! Children under 5 always receive free general admission, so they do not count toward your number of guests.

Do I need an advance reservation as a member?

Walk-in tickets for members are not available on sold out days, so make sure to plan ahead and reserve your member tickets online for busy spring weekends. If you need assistance with booking a reservation, please contact the reservations office at 650.364.8300 x1 or email tickets@filoli.org.

Do I need to come in at my selected time?

If you selected the 10am slot, you may arrive anytime after 10am. If you selected 1pm, you may arrive anytime after 1pm. Filoli is open for general admission until 5pm.

How do I verify my membership at check in?

Please make sure to bring your active digital or physical membership card, or a photo ID matching the name on your membership. Our visitor services staff will be verifying all memberships when you check in, whether you have advance reservations or not.

I cannot make it to my reservation. What should I do?

You can cancel your reservation by emailing our reservations office at tickets@filoli.org or calling 650.364.8300 x1. Your freed up spots will allow other members to enjoy Filoli!

A duplicate account will be created if you use information that does not correspond to your membership. If you would like to change your email address or contact information, please contact the membership office at membership@filoli.org .

I have a Family membership. Why can't I book tickets for all my children and grandchildren?

You will need to complete two transactions to book tickets for everyone. One for the adult tickets and one for the children. You will receive two receipts but everything will be under one name when you check in.

I have a child under 5 years old. Do I need a Family membership?

No, children under 5 are always free to visit Filoli.

How can I book additional tickets?

Filoli members can buy 4 additional tickets (beyond what their membership covers) with a 20% discount each day.

Select “Tickets” in the right hand corner of this screen. Select “General Admission” (green column) for the desired date and time block you’d like to book for. Sign in to your account as you would when booking member tickets. As long as you are signed in, you will receive a 20% discount on up to 4 general admission tickets each visit.

If you cannot attend with your guests, you are welcome to buy tickets for your friends and family with this discount. Simply forward them the tickets.

Can I pay for my Filoli Membership with a Donor Advised Fund?

Yes, you can pay for your membership using your donor advised fund by waiving all tangible benefits. In the designation field on the DAF request form, please indicate that you wish to renew your Filoli membership, and include your name and member number (if known). Once you request the grant, please contact the membership office at membership@filoli.org or 650.364.8300 x3 to let us know you requested it. We will make sure to process it as a membership once we receive your donation.

For Guild and Circle levels, IRS rules restrict tangible benefits for tax deductibility purposes with DAF grants. Benefits may include complimentary admission to Summer Nights, Holidays at Filoli (included with Circle levels), and the Guild Tea Party. For full tax deductibility, donors must waive tangible benefits. Please speak with your tax advisor regarding any questions you have about your DAF grant.

Are Filoli memberships fully tax deductible?

All basic level memberships (Student Individual through Patron) are fully tax deductible.

For Guild and Circle levels, IRS rules restrict tangible benefits for tax deductibility purposes. Benefits may include complimentary admission to Summer Nights, Holidays at Filoli (included with Circle levels), and the Guild Tea Party. For full tax deductibility, donors must waive these benefits. Please contact the membership office at membership@filoli.org to waive these benefits when you purchase or renew your membership. Please speak with your tax advisor regarding any questions you have.

Does my membership include tickets to "Holidays at Filoli"?

Most membership levels do not include free general admission to our holiday season (mid November through early January). Filoli members receive a 20% discount on all general admission tickets to Holidays at Filoli , as well as access to the member pre-sale in fall.

The only membership levels that receive free admission to Holidays at Filoli are Circle, Community Family, and Family for All levels. If you would like more information about these levels, please contact the membership office at membership@filoli.org .

When member tickets are sold out, can I still attend Filoli for free?

No. We are lucky to have over 23,000 members, and we cannot accommodate all members every day. Our parking lot has limited space and we want to make sure the visit experience is pleasant for everyone. If we allowed members to reserve all available tickets, we would become a members-only organization, and that is not our mission. Filoli relies on the revenue received from ticket sales as well as membership dues, so we need to make space for purchased tickets every day. We are always striving to find the balance and give as many members as possible the opportunity to visit, and that's why we've added Members Only Mornings. The peak visitation occurs during the weekends of March and April, so we ask all visitors, including our members, to book tickets in advance.
